Another year comes....hope is once again felt like a feeling never once felt before. Could this be it? Could this be the year?NOPE!
Instead we get to say the unforgettable verse that Cubs fans are so privileged to say, "Maybe Next Year". Might as well be in the first verse in the Bible, " In the beginning God Created the Cubs...and they will lose." Or The US Constitution. "We the People of the United States... will deal with the Cubs losing year after year"
Perhaps in my Dads lifetime it will happen, maybe in my lifetime it will happen, maybe in Aly's life time it will happen. The lovable cursed losers. Darn goat, Darn cat, Darn Sports Illustrated, Darn... oh what the hell, Darn Bartman!!
